Kathie Harris

Kathie Harris consults from the Missouri office of A. V. POWELL & ASSOCIATES. She prepares actuarial studies, peer reviews the firm's consulting reports, and provides training and support to clients using the firm's proprietary FORCAST and FINAID actuarial software.

Ms. Harris has over 20 years of experience in the CCRC and insurance industries providing a variety of consulting services, including actuarial and financial projections for CCRCs, health insurance product development and analysis, and information system design and implementation.

A frequent speaker at industry trade shows, Ms. Harris has developed and led seminars on actuarial and financial issues for CCRCs.

SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• Managed the growth of our consulting practice during the past decade to become the largest provider of actuarial services for CCRCs in the nation.
• Created new contract options and pricing structures for facilities to respond to changing market demands.
• Developed web-based CCRC benchmarking tool, A2ZCCRC.
• Prepared financial statement projections for CCRCs to achieve industry accreditation.
