Lockey McDonald
Executive Assistant

Lockey McDonald has been with A.V. POWELL & ASSOCIATES since 1998. She manages the day-to-day administrative operations of the Atlanta office, coordinates the details for the annual FORCAST Users Group Conference, reviews the office's work products to ensure quality and clarity, and assists the Atlanta consultants, as needed. She also provides support for AV's special projects and marketing efforts and works closely with the Chief Financial Officer.

Lockey has more than 27 years' experience with healthcare consulting firms. Prior to joining AV POWELL & ASSOCIATES, she worked as production coordinator for several healthcare consulting practices, where she was responsible for developing and implementing quality standards for all work products; for recruiting, training, and supervising support staff to meet the demands of a growing consulting staff; for translating lengthy statistical narratives to concise presentations with graphics; and for coordinating work flow to meet myriad commitments in a cost-effective manner.

SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• Contributed critical organizational and management skills to three Atlanta-based healthcare consulting firms during their startup years, enabling each to expand product offerings, maximize staff efficiency and reduce turnover, and minimize costs.
• Designed and implemented systems for maintaining in-house resource and reference materials, for archiving the firms' electronic and paper documents, for streamlining work product flow, for improving communication between the consulting and administrative staffs.
